VOTE POPUP TRAINING WITH THE YMCA SUDBURY

July 16th, 2019 / 9:00am - 12:00pm / Sudbury, ON

The Exchange is offering a free training for community based organizations and civic leaders interested in engaging their communities in the upcoming federal election. This training provides participants with everything they need to run meaningful, effective and high energy activities. Participants will learn advanced techniques for running Vote PopUps including volunteer outreach and training methods, working with the media to amplify the impact of the work, and negotiating to secure great locations and community partnerships.

VOTE POPUP TRAINING WITH THE WATERLOO GLOBAL SCIENCE INITIATIVE

July 17th, 2019 / 1:00pm - 4:00pm / Waterloo, ON

The Exchange is partnering with the Waterloo Global Science Initiative to host a free Vote PopUp training session in Uptown Waterloo. The Waterloo Global Science Initiative (WGSI) brings together brilliant minds and unheard voices from different disciplines, generations, and geographies to address the pressing challenges of the future.Through local and global collaborations, they offer the space and time for people to act on change in their community.

VOTE POPUP TRAINING WITH THE HAMILTON CENTRE FOR CIVIC INCLUSION

Morning: July 25th, 2019 / 11:30am - 2:30pm / Hamilton, ON

Afternoon: July 25th, 2019 / 6:00pm - 8:30pm / Hamilton, ON

The Exchange is partnering with Hamilton Centre for Civic Inclusion (HCCI) to bring Vote PopUps to Hamilton.The HCCI is a community based organization with a mandate to create a welcoming and inclusive city. Two free sessions are being held for civic leaders, community groups, high school students, university students and residents for them to learn how to conduct Vote PopUps in their communities.

VOTE POPUP TRAINING WITH SPRINGTIDE

July 31st, 2019 / 5:30pm - 8:30pm / Halifax, NS

The Exchange is partnering with Springtide to offer a free training for community based organizations and civic leaders interested in engaging their communities in the upcoming federal election. The training will focus on delivering Vote PopUps, which are simulated polling places run by community organizations and local civic leaders.
