A national initiative focused on the role of post-secondary institutions in fostering democratic participation across Canada.
Post-secondary institutions play a critical role in preparing the next generation of engaged citizens - fostering dialogue and creating opportunities for participation in democratic life. While there is a growing commitment across Canada to this work, many institutions continue to face challenges beyond one-time or solely election-driven activities.
This initiative is an effort to showcase the strong work that already exists and support a coordinated and sustainable framework for these efforts going forward. The end goal: a strong campus culture of democratic participation.
