Join the Team: Forum for Young Canadians 2027
Are you a passionate leader, organizer, or mentor looking to make a meaningful impact this summer? The Democratic Engagement Exchange at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU), in partnership with the Rideau Hall Foundation is hiring 38 dynamic individuals across 4 distinct roles to support the 2027 Forum.
For more than 45 years, Forum for Young Canadians has been and continues to be a uniting force, bringing more than 25,000 young people together to connect and learn from each other, deepen their understanding of Canada and of the national decision-making process, and grow their commitment to civic engagement. This year, the Forum takes place over 3 seaprate weeks in Ottawa, ON.
Together, our team will ensure a safe, inclusive, well-organized, and deeply empowering experience for youth traveling from coast to coast.
Overview
Location: Ottawa, ON
Program Dates:
Session 1: Sunday, February 7 - Friday, February 12, 2027
Session 2: Sunday, February 28 - Friday, March 5, 2027
Session 3: Sunday, April 18 - April 23, 2027Core Requirements: Must be 25 or older + pass a police background check.
